Planning a wedding at Turkey Run Hollow Wedding and Event Center in West Middlesex, Pennsylvania? Scarmack Productions provides wedding photography and videography designed around the venue's rustic barn, wooded acreage, outdoor ceremony spaces, and on-site preparation areas.
Located in Mercer County near the Ohio border, Turkey Run Hollow keeps the ceremony, reception, and many portrait locations on one property. That makes it easier to protect time for portraits, candid coverage, and wedding-film sequences without adding unnecessary travel to the timeline.
Why Turkey Run Hollow works well for photo and video
- Rustic barn: a recognizable backdrop for reception coverage, details, entrances, and evening events.
- Wooded acreage: outdoor variety for couple portraits, wedding-party photographs, and establishing film shots.
- On-site ceremony pavilion: a dedicated ceremony setting that keeps the day connected to the main venue.
- Preparation cottages: separate on-site spaces that can simplify getting-ready coverage and transitions.
- Multiple barn levels and outdoor gathering areas: useful visual variety throughout the ceremony and reception.
Karoline + China's Turkey Run Hollow wedding
Scarmack Productions provided videography for Karoline and China's August 2026 wedding at Turkey Run Hollow. Their ceremony and reception both took place on the property, allowing the wedding film to move naturally from preparation and the outdoor setting into the reception without losing time to travel between venues.
Their creative team included photographer Sierra Robertson, makeup artist Jadyn Moon, florist and wedding planner Shannon Osborne, David's Bridal, and Scarmack Productions for videography.
Planning wedding coverage at Turkey Run Hollow
When the ceremony and reception share one property, build the timeline around two portrait windows: one earlier period for family and wedding-party photographs and a shorter later window for softer outdoor light. For videography, allow time for exterior establishing shots, ceremony details, natural audio, and transitions between the wooded property and the barn.
For combined photography and videography, Scarmack Productions coordinates coverage so portraits, ceremony moments, reception events, and film sequences are captured without repeatedly pulling the couple away from their guests.
