Q: What packages do you offer?
A: We like to keep things simple, 2, 4 , 6, 8 hours. You can also book by the hour, just let me know. Extra time can always be added later if needed. Check out the book now page for more detailed information.
Q: What is your turn around time?
A: Photography 4 – 6 Weeks. Videography 5 – 8 Weeks. (Times may vary depending on backlog but you will be kept in the loop every step of the way!) You can always check on the status here - Workload
Q: How long are you usually there on our wedding day?
A: That is strictly up to you! I offer custom packages but additional hours can be added later.
Q: Do you offer Idle Hours or Down time?
A: Hours booked are consecutive. When booking we are giving up the opportunity to book another wedding or job during that time. Once we're on site at your venue it's hard to leave with all our gear, and then go do something else and be back in time as we need to stay ready for the next timeline of events. We often find ways to fill the void so we're not just sitting around. Capturing candid shots, decorations, etc.
Q: Can we change our booking details after booking? Example, we originally thought we only needed 4 hours but now need 6.
A: Yes, absolutely! I always tell people that getting your date booked and saved is the most important detail, the rest we can figure out later. And also, when booking a year or so in advance, sometimes you just don't know all those details yet. Once you dive into your planning you will have a much better understanding of everything you'll need.
Q: Do you offer RAW Footage or Full-Length clips?
A: I do not offer RAW Footage as it does require special software to be able to view it and edit it but if you know what you're doing then that can be accommodated, otherwise I do offer Edited Original Footage that is playable on all devices.
Q: What form of payments do you accept?
A: Cash is king as they say. I also accept checks, PayPal (info@seanscarmack.com), Venmo (SeanScarmack), Cash App, Apple Pay, Zelle. See more information here
Q: Did you notice when checking out Tax was 10% and not 6%, why is that?
A: Most people are using credit cards to pay nowadays and on top of Sales Tax (6%), there are credit card processing fees (mostly 3.9%). And unfortunately there is nowhere for me a add a CC Fee charge. This is a very common practice to charge a CC Fee for most businesses. A discount can be applied for not using a CC, PayPal and other services like that.
Q: Do you require a retainer and is it refundable?
A: I require a $500 retainer to hold your day and that is non-refundable after 30 days of booking. Only because weddings are usually booked a year in advance with very little last-minute ones. So, when I book your day, I'm giving up the opportunity to potentially book another, while sometimes I may get lucky and find one, it is not always guaranteed. Wedding must be paid in full within 30 days of your wedding date, after which is non-refundable for any reason.
Q: Do you have a rescheduling fee?
A: Yes $500 - ONLY if your date changes within 90 Days of your Wedding Date. As mentioned above, I hold your original date and may have turned away another Wedding to do yours. No charge if over 90 days out.
Q: How long and how many weddings have you shot?
A: I have been shooting weddings now for 18 years and have done over 250 weddings.
Q: Do you have insurance and can you provide proof of insurance for liability reasons?
A: Yes, absolutely! $1,000,000 personal injury and each occurrence.
Q: Are you able to get drone footage for us?
A: Short answer, yes! Not so short answer would be FAA Restrictions, airports, no fly zones, etc. Just let me know your venue prior and I can look into seeing if there are any restrictions in that area.
Q: Do you travel and if so, are there fees?
A: ! love traveling to new and exciting places! Besides my normal rate, travel expenses must be accommodated. I travel within one hour of Sharpsville, PA 16150, at no additional cost and then everything over is additional. Click the Book Now in the menu to see a full breakdown of pricing + availability.
Q: How do we receive our Photos and / or Video?
A: I deliver everything digitally via Dropbox download, but I can also make you a USB thumb drive for an additional fee. Everything is uploaded to my website, shared to Facebook for ease of sharing and the videos are also uploaded to YouTube.
Q: Do you keep our Photos and / or Video Backed up?
A: By default I keep everything backed up for 1 year after your Wedding but do offer a service for 5 years Guaranteed (Short of a Natural Disaster)
Q: Do you offer any Discounts?
A: 10% Discount for Military (Active / Retired) and/or First Responders
