Their Story

Vanessa and John met in the summer of 2019 while working together at the steel mill. What started as a friendship quickly turned into something more, and they soon realized they had found someone they genuinely loved spending life with.

Although they're very different in many ways, those differences are one of the things that make them work so well together. John is the calm, steady, easygoing one, while Vanessa brings energy, enthusiasm, and a little extra excitement to everyday life. Together, they balance each other perfectly.

When they're not working, they enjoy spending time together on the golf course, taking little adventures, and relaxing at home with their toy poodle, Charlie, who is a very spoiled and much-loved member of the family.

Over the years, their relationship has grown through countless everyday moments rather than grand gestures. They have learned to lean on one another through life's highs and lows, always choosing each other along the way. In February 2026, John proposed at home, beginning the next chapter of the life they had already been building together.

Their wedding reflects who they are as a couple. They chose a self-uniting ceremony because they believe the promises they make to each other are the heart of their marriage. Surrounded by their closest family, they'll commit themselves to one another in a way that feels deeply personal and true to them.

For Vanessa and John, this day isn't just about celebrating a wedding—it's about celebrating the life they've built together, the people they love most, and the future they're excited to create side by side.
